The Details
Our Career Coaching Program consists of up to 54 training units (UE) over a maximum of 12 weeks.
- Fully Online – It does not matter where in Germany you are.
- Flexible Start – Start your individual coaching with us, whenever you are ready.
- Flexible Scheduling – There is no fixed schedule. Sessions will be individually scheduled according to your needs and progress.

Do you qualify for an AVGS?
What exactly is an AVGS?
An AVGS (Aktivierungs- und Vermittlungsgutschein) is a type of Bildungsgutschein (educational voucher) provided by the Agentur für Arbeit or Jobcenter for people who are unemployed or soon to be unemployed.
This voucher enables the recipient to complete further educational training or career coaching, paid for by the German government.
An AVGS is not a guaranteed benefit. The Agentur für Arbeit/Job Center will assess for your case individually, if you meet the requirements and if the program you plan to participate in will increase your chances in the German job-market.
Do I qualify for an AVGS?
To apply for an ACGS it is a prerequisite that you live in Germany and are registered in Germany. You do not have to have German citizenship.
You might be eligible to an AVGS in the following three cases:
- You are registered “arbeitslos” (unemployed) with Agentur für Arbeit and receive Arbeitslosengeld 1
- You are registered “arbeitslos” (unemployed) with Jobcenter and receive Bürgergeld
- You already know that your current contract of employment will end and are registered “arbeitsuchend“ (searching for employment). To get the ball rolling as early as possible, you should register “arbeitsuchend” three months before your contract ends latest.
So, in order to receive an AVGS, you need to register “arbeitslos” or “arbeitssuchend” with your local Agentur für Arbeit or Jobcenter, which you can easily do online. (Google-search your city + “Agentur für Arbeit”) Then, schedule an appointment with your Vermittler, to apply for an AVGS.
